The Country Sales Manager’s mission is to actively develop the assigned area, reach the sales objectives, animate the established distribution network and develop the end-user prescription according to the Export sales and marketing policy in autonomy. Reporting to the Export Sales Director.

 

Your responsibilities are:

  • Develop the sales of at least one zone (can be a regional zone) and reach the objectives of sales and margin on the given zone by following the policy and the commercial strategy of the group.
  • Technical and commercial prescription to distributors and promote the group’s product range to end-users (through the distribution network established).
  • Animate the distribution network via local sales representatives, sales agents and/or business prescribers, occasionally organize sales tours with them and the distributors’ sales representatives (organization of tours, training, new product presentations, promotional actions).
  • Ensure the follow-up of the customers’ requests.
  • Provide technical advice and training to users and distributors regarding the group’s products.
  • Report critical information, such as user needs and issues, emerging markets and competing products to the Export Director.
  • Provide a sales service in order to seize opportunities and develop the business of our partners. Ensure that the area is covered effectively.
  • Complete and update the distributor database.
  • Submit activity reports/potential clients/market information to the Export Director by the deadlines given.
  • Propose and implement, with the support of the marketing department, marketing communication activities related to the geographical sector in order to increase the brand’s presence and sales

  • Working with a highly competitive and remote distribution network
  • Develop areas
  • Know how to analyse your portfolio and define your commercial strategy for the zone in agreement with the Export Sales Director.
  • Transfer and share information via reporting, IT tools and CRM
  • Work as part of a team with local sales representatives, agents, ADV and marketing staff ….
  • Travelling occasionally within the zone
  • Be a reference on a range of products
  • Good international culture and knowledge of regulatory constraints related to the area

Perfil candidato

The profile of the candidate that we are looking for to fulfil this great position is the following:

 

Skills and knowledge

  • 3 or 4 years’ higher education in sales, international trade and/or 5 years’ experience in a BtoB sales position
  • Good knowledge of multi-distribution
  • Knowledge of PPE or technical products
  • Ability to manage a network of export distributors (sales, training, commercial action, etc.)
  • Excellent sales skills
  • Good command of English and one or more other languages depending on the geographical area covered

 

Soft skills

  • Self-motivation and self-discipline skills
  • Initiative and decisiveness
  • Ability to work independently, while possessing team spirit
  • Recognised leadership qualities (sense of responsibility, action, management, flexibility, etc.)
  • Good presentation & communication skills
