Director Product Management at Emma Safety Footwear – a Hultafors company

The main tasks (key accountabilities and deliverables) for this job are the following:

Purpose of the Position:

• Develop a future vision for the product range based on external developments.
• Lead the product management department and maintain relationships with external product designers.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to EMMA’s policies and strategy.
• Create a plan for an optimal product assortment.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
• Implement sustainability goals.
• Conduct performance and recruitment interviews.
• Monitor budget and cost management.
• Support and motivate employees.

Core Activities:

• Develop a commercially successful product range in collaboration with Sales and Marketing.
• Identify market developments and customer needs.
• Manage the New Product Development (NPD) process and lead strategic projects.
• Create the annual product roadmap.
• Coordinate sustainability requirements and certifications with relevant departments.
• Manage product adjustments based on test results.
• Annual rationalization of the product assortment.
• Contribute to margin and cost objectives.
• Lead various commercial projects.
• Manage product data in the ERP system.

Sustainability:

• Integrate sustainability into design, production, and distribution.
• Support compliance with environmental regulations and contribute to the organization’s sustainability goals.
