As part of the growth strategy of EMMA Safety Footwear – part of Hultafors Group -, we are looking for an experienced account manager who identifies him or herself with the words ‘courage’, ‘out of the box thinking’ and ‘connector’. Responsible for account management and business development in the PPE dealer and end user market in the region of Wallonia, Luxembourg and Northern France.

The main tasks (key accountabilities and deliverables) for this job are the following:

 

  • Drive growth through identifying new business and market opportunities to support short- and long-term
    growth.
  • Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments with customers, giving presentations, taking into
    account the requirements and wishes of the customer.
  • Provide a thorough explanation of product and service, where there is a need you initiate and develop new
    applications such as private and white labels in consultation with the customer and internal organization.
  • Participate in national and/or foreign trade shows.
  • Contribute to collecting strategic market information by tracking competitor products. Feedback of
    market requirements to the EMMA product development teams to ensure offer fit and long-term
    competitive offering.
  • Proactively develop marketing campaigns for dealers and end users.
  • Maintain administration including contracts, email handling and quotations and register this in CRM
    system.
  • Establish long term relationships with customers and develop existing business.
  • Activate brand- and product marketing campaigns within the territory and specify key accounts in
    collaboration with Marketing.
  • Activate tender management, also in collaboration with the sales manager (vision and focus
    determination).
  • Meet sales results by achieving expected revenue, margin and other targets.

profiel kandidaat

The candidates possess the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Bachelor degree (preferably in commerce or business studies);
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar sales role;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in working with dealer networks (BtoB) and end users (BtoC) sales activities
  • Results-oriented and entrepreneurial, persuasive, can create support for ideas and plans;
  • Fluent in French writing and speaking. Dutch and English is an absolute must-have.
