Health & Safety Sales Manager Benelux & Scandinavia at GVS Filter Technology

Result-driven sales person with a winners mentality

As part of the corporate overall growth strategy, GVS is looking to incorporate a regional sales manager for the region of Benelux & Scandinavia.

GVS Group is a global filter manufacturer with a turnover of around 450M€, with its head office in Bologna in Italy. The business successfully floated on the Italian Stock Exchange in June 2020 and is a leading provider of filtration and PPE products to industry across the world. GVS is the fast-growing manufacturer of respiratory solutions and to support the growth we are looking for the right candidate to handle this position.

Functieomschrijving

The core responsibility of this role is to manage and develop the distribution of the GVS products by doing the prescription at end user level and by enlarging the distributor network. The core activity of the role will be to expand the current level of interaction, and communication with the relevant departments within the distribution network to develop further the usage of the product, and to maximize growth in market share. In addition you will be required to do the following:

  • Build rapport with key end user decision makers to prescribe GVS range of Masks, PAPR, SAR, Blasting
    helmets in relevant industries;
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate goals;
  • Build a strong and structured opportunity pipeline to facilitate continued growth in sales and using our
    CRM tool (Hubspot);
  • Achieve all growth targets set;
  • Become a valued and trusted partner to customers;
  • Deliver first class sales presentations to clients;
  • Find and participate in tender and framework activity;
  • Conduct market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates;
  • Frequent travelling is part of the job;
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on the activities and products of competitors;
  • Perform day to day sales admin – quoting and following-up with customers.

profiel kandidaat

  • Bachelor’s Degree;
  • Experience of 3 years or more in PPE, welding, painting or blasting industries;
  • Proven track record in generating new business and maximizing potential within existing accounts;
  • Excellent presentation skills;
  • Strong end user knowledge in the assigned region;
  • Strong PPE distribution network knowledge;
  • Fluent in English – strong preference for French as well. Any other European language(s) is a plus.
